De route laat het lange lintdorp zien, richting Kolhorn. Verder ga je langs het afgedankte Gemaal Schagerkogge, in 1927 gebouwd in Amsterdamse schoolstijl. Vervolgens naar zijn voorganger aan de Molenkolk (stoomgemaal uit 1871) en zijn opvolger (Gemaal Kolhorn uit 2007).
