De route gaat rond de Vennewaterspolder. De kronkelende sloot in deze polder geeft nog steeds aan hoe het vroegere Oer-IJ daadwerkelijk heeft gelopen. Verder komt u langs de Abdij van Egmond en de Genadekapel "Onze Lieve Vrouw ter Nood" ten zuiden van Heiloo.
