- The Hoofdvaart Route (blue) starts at Abbenes and is the most polder-like route in the Haarlemmermeer. It leads along the Hoofdvaart towards the town of Nieuw-Vennep, over the land of the Elisabeth Hoeve farm, through the orchards of De Olmenhorst estate and via a former peat railway in Lisserbroek. Along the way, three farmers offer you the chance to buy vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products. There is also an opportunity to take a break.
