Take in the salty sea air and enjoy the wide, open views over the Wadden Sea during this walk.

The Waddenkant Route (red) runs from Stroe to Noorderburen. The former Wadden island of Wieringen is one of the oldest parts of Noord-Holland and has a rich history. Its undulating landscape is thousands of years old and was shaped by the pushing force of glaciers. Stroe is generally regarded as one of the oldest villages on Wieringen. Traditional Wieringen farmhouses can still be seen in and around the village.
