The Cruytbergh Route (orange) in Santpoort-Noord takes you to the Burgemeester Rijkenspark, named after Roelf Gerrit Rijkens, a former mayor of Velsen (1920-1932). On the other side of the track, you walk to Landgoed Duin en Kruidberg estate. You walk through the ornate garden with its pond and can relax on the terrace of the manor house dating from 1909, which is now a hotel.
The Cruytbergh Route (orange) can alo be started at Santpoort-Noord station and goes through the beautiful landscape garden at the imposing Duin en Kruidberg manor in Zuid-Kennemerland National Park.
