The Weespersluisroute or Weespersluis Lock Route (yellow) is a trip from Driemond to Weesp, the old, fortified town on the Vecht. You cross the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal with views of the busy shipping traffic and barges. On the other side, follow the Smal Weesp stream past the former factory site of the famous Van Houten cocoa factory (1850-1971).
